UGANDAS NEW PRESIDENT COMMENDS CITIZENS, VOWS TO WORK HARDER

The President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has been sworn in as the newly elected President after winning this year’s 2021 general Elections by chief justice Alfonso Owiny Dolo.

President Museveni while swearing in vowed to protect and promote Uganda as whole and the citizens the ceremony took place at Kololo Independence grounds in Kampala Uganda capital city.

 The ceremony brought 33 guests from outside Uganda 10 of them were African Presidents including President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan, Kenya Uhuru Kenyata, South Sudan President Salva Kiir, Burundi’s Everest Ndayishimiye, Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo, Zimbabwe’s Emmerson Mnangagwa among others.

The Minister for Presidency Esther Mbayo announced all the instruments given to President to guide him in ruling the mother country Uganda.

“President has received the National flag, Presidential Flag, National court of arms, the public seal, shield” Mbayo mentioned all the items received by President Museveni at Kololo.

The Chairperson for Electoral Commission Simon Mugenyi Byabakama is a Ugandan lawyer and judge, gave his speech regarding the outcome of the recently concluded general elections that attracted 11 candidates with a single woman.

Religious leaders like Archbishop Samuel Kazimba Mugalu, Mufti of Uganda Ramathan Mubajje prayed for the president immediately after being sworn in.
